Ada Moorings

Ada Moorings, Ada MI
Ada Moorings

Ada Moorings is comprised of 230 single family homes and condominiums and offers a lifestyle unlike most with a walkable community built around 200 acres of scenic trails and private nature preserves. Imagine peaceful morning walks via the community trails to the Grand River boat launch for kayaking, canoeing or watching your favorite Forest Hills high school team rowing in unison while they practice for regatta’s.  Walk to Ada Park to watch your kids play soccer, enjoy the playground with your toddlers, picnic with your entire family , play tennis or join an adult softball league. Take a bit longer stroll or a bike ride past the covered bridge or into the charming village of Ada where there are delightful shops, salons, a spa, coffee shop, several restaurants including Schnitz Deli, Vitalie’s Italian, Zeytin’s Turkish, and more. A favorite for dessert is Spoonlicker’s frozen yogurt shop. With the newly designed village underway it is a scene out of a Norman Rockwell Christmas print. Located in Forest Hill’s Central schools, or attend the full Spanish or Chinese language immersion schools.

Children’s Miracle Network and RE/MAX

We’re thrilled to announce that the RE/MAX of Michigan Region collectively raised $209,980 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2015. This is an amazing 86% increase from the funds raised in 2014. Congratulations on a job well done, on putting your money where the miracles are, and for helping kids all across the state!

Also in 2015, RE/MAX Associates across North America raised more than $9 million for 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Through the Miracle Home and Miracle Property programs, offices and agents across the United States and Canada invested in their communities by making donations on behalf of their customers to local children’s hospitals. Donations help fund pediatric medical equipment and treatments, healthcare services and charitable care. In addition to Miracle Home and Miracle Property contributions, RE/MAX offices and agents generate donations through golf tournaments, benefit dinners, auctions and other community fundraisers.  For many agents, these donations are very personal, helping kids in their own families and neighborhoods.

Shown in the photo above are RE/MAX, LLC CEO Dave Liniger and Camryn Akers, the Miracle Child who represented CMNH at this year’s R4 conference in Las Vegas. Dave presented Camryn with an American Girl doll on stage at the Opening General Session, much to her delight. Camryn was a delightful ambassador for CMNH, reminding attendees why we raise money for such a worthy cause.
