Hi, I am Karen Jason Gill and I welcome you to my blog, Remaining Relevent. We have so many options open to us as we age and being in that big 2-story with your bedroom on the 2nd floor and the laundry in the basement probably isn’t one you want to retain for much longer. You see, not only am I a Realtor at RE/MAX SunQuest in Grand Rapids, MI. , but I am also a Senior, a wife, a mom to 5 grown children, a Grandma & a great Grandma ( I call myself Bushia after my Polish heritage ). Age is but a number, don’t let the number give you a panic attack. Remain relevant and stay savvy in your 60’s,70’s and beyond.
In my 40 plus year career I’ve worked with clients purchasing their first home, helped them purchase larger homes as they raised their families, worked with corporations and local businesses as they hired new employees relocating here from other states and many from different parts of the world, and helped move them back out as they took new positions. As time went on I worked with their children, their grandchildren and many of their friends and family. I have earned my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) from the National Association of Realtors and have rolled my sleeves up to help you, or maybe it’s your mom and dad you’re looking out for. Along with housing, we’ll look at fun things happening in and around the city, and I’ll take you on some of my outings, and share some of the rest of my world; my family, cooking, my likes, my dislikes, baking, gardening, traveling, remodeling my home which seems to be an unending process.
